Health Facilities
Medical facilities are provided at all the mines besides Head Office,
Islamabad.
Asthma Resort
PMDC
has established an Asthma Resort Center on pilot basis at the Khewra Mines to
cure asthma patients.
Education
Provision of education to the mining community’s children in the far off areas is one of the basic facilities generously developed by PMDC. Some of the schools have earned good reputation among the community by establishing a quality education in the area. These facilities are summarized in the table.
