Mr. Shamsuddin Ahmed Shaikh has extensive professional experience with 34+ years in mining, manufacturing, sales, commercial and supply chain areas. He is also CEO of National Resources Limited NRL.
In addition to the numerous Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects undertaken under his leadership, Mr. Shamsuddin Ahmed Shaikh devotes his personal time to philanthropic activities; guiding and leading non-profit organizations focused on human resource development in Pakistan. Currently he also serves as Chairman of Charity Right Association of Pakistan.

Engr. Asad Ahmad, having 28 years of experience in corporate and public sectors in National, Multinational companies in the Energy, Power, Mining, and Minerals sectors. Currently serves as Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director at Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC).
Experience: 28 years in public and private sectors Energy and Mining projects, leadership roles at Descon Power Solutions and Saba Power Company. Led multi-site QA/HSE operations and certification programs, Business Development, Stakeholder Management, Human Resource Management, significant cost reductions, Managed enterprise risk, audits, and regulatory compliance at corporate level, successfully implemented IMS across large industrial projects.

Mr. Khalil Ahmed is a senior civil servant of the Government of Pakistan, presently serving in BPS-20 as Joint Secretary in the Secretariat Group. He joined the Civil Service of Pakistan in 2005 as a Section Officer and has since held progressively senior positions across a wide range of Ministries and Divisions. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Sciences along with professional qualifications namely DHMS and Doctor of Naturopathy.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Khalil Ahmed has managed diverse portfolios spanning parliamentary business, legislative affairs, policy formulation, and governance reforms. He has been instrumental in the drafting and development of landmark laws and policies, including those relating to service matters, financial regulations, and criminal law reforms. His contributions to the IHGO Policy, the revision of EURA, and the SOPs on Red Notices are widely recognized as milestones in his professional career.
He has undergone specialized training at leading national and international institutions, enhancing his capacity to promote good governance, institutional strengthening, and policy innovation.
Mr. Khalil Ahmed has also played a pivotal role in high-level national assignments. While serving in the Prime Minister’s Office, he provided critical policy and legal support on matters relating to civil service reforms, governance, and service management. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was entrusted with sensitive responsibilities in the health sector, where he contributed as part of the government’s core team managing the national response to the crisis.
On the international front, Mr. Khalil Ahmed represented Pakistan with distinction as a senior member of the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in East Timor (2011), further broadening his global exposure and professional credentials.
At present, he is serving in the energy sector under the Petroleum Division, where he brings his extensive administrative, legal, and policy expertise to improve governance and institutional performance. As an ex officio Director on the Boards of GHPL, PSOCL-Renewable Energy Limited and PMDC, he contributes to strategic decision-making, sectoral reforms, and oversight of corporate governance.

Mr. Saad Ghani is a senior public sector professional and Electrical Engineer with over 12 years of progressive leadership experience in public finance management, macroeconomic policy, federal budgeting, and energy sector governance. He has played a strategic role in fiscal policymaking at the federal level, contributing to macroeconomic stabilization, structural reforms, and public sector financial oversight.
Currently serving in key positions within the Finance Division, Government of Pakistan, Mr. Ghani has been actively engaged in fiscal policy formulation, IMF program negotiations (SBA/EFF), state-owned enterprise (SOE) reforms, and development portfolio management. His work has directly supported macroeconomic stabilization efforts, fiscal consolidation frameworks, and energy sector financial restructuring.

Professional Contributions
Mr. Ghani contributed to the formulation of fiscal and economic response measures during the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting stabilization and recovery efforts. He played an active role in IMF SBA and EFF negotiations, contributing to fiscal adjustment frameworks and reform benchmarks.
He has led financial evaluations and fiscal risk assessments of major state-owned enterprises in the power and petroleum sectors, including DISCOs, GENCOs, NTDC, WAPDA, OGDC, PPL, PSO, and PMDC, assessing their financial performance, subsidy requirements, and reform pathways.
His experience includes facilitating high-level decision-making processes at the Cabinet level, including matters placed before the ECC and CCOE. He has supervised development initiatives under the PSDP, regional uplift packages, and disaster risk mitigation programs.
Earlier in his career, he gained hands-on experience in hydropower project operations, procurement, and contract management in AJK, strengthening his technical and commercial understanding of infrastructure and energy project governance.

Ms. Javaria Tareen is a board-level leader, policy professional, and governance reform specialist from Baluchistan, Pakistan, with a strong foundation in communication, public policy, and development. She currently serves as Board Director at the Pakistan Minerals Development Corporation (PMDC). She has previously served as Chairperson, Council of Complaints at PEMRA, Baluchistan and as a Board Member of the Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP), where she contributed to board-level governance, strategic oversight, and institutional reform processes.
Ms. Tareen has dedicated her career to shaping public policy, leading institutional reforms, and advocating for accountability and inclusive governance.
A three-time Fulbright Fellow, including a Distinguished Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship at Harvard Kennedy School, she has served as Technical Advisor to the Chief Minister of Baluchistan and held senior roles with the World Bank, UNHCR, European Union, USIP, US-Pakistan Women Council and Amnesty International.
